Process

How outdoor work runs

  1. Site visit

We walk the property and talk through what you want.

  2. Plan and estimate

Layout, materials, and the price, with any permits noted.

  3. Utilities marked

Before any digging, underground lines are marked through PA 811.

  4. The work

Equipment brought in and the work completed, protecting what's around it.

  5. Cleanup and walkthrough

Debris hauled away and the finished work reviewed with you.

Concrete, blacktop and planting depend on weather and ground temperature, so outdoor work is scheduled by season.

Before we arrive

  • Point out sprinkler lines, invisible pet fences and septic locations
  • Know your property lines, if you can
  • Move vehicles and outdoor furniture out of the work area
  • Tell us about pets and gate access

When the work is done

We review the finished work with you and explain care, like how long new concrete should cure before heavy use.

Photos and paperwork from the job are kept with your job record.

Cost and timing

What affects your price

We don’t post prices, because two houses on the same street can need very different work. Your estimate is built from these factors.

Size of the area

Square footage of patio, driveway or planting beds.

Site conditions

Slope, drainage and whether equipment can reach the area.

Materials

Pavers, stone, concrete, blacktop or plants.

Trees

Size, and how close they are to the house or power lines.

Hauling

Removing old material, debris and soil.

Timing

Most outdoor work runs from spring to fall. Paving and concrete need warm, dry weather.

Questions

Common home exterior questions

When is the best time to pave or pour concrete?

In warm, dry months. Cold or wet weather affects how it cures.

Can you remove a tree near my house?

We assess it first. Trees near power lines may need the utility involved before work can start.

Do you install pools and hot tubs?

Yes, both are part of our outdoor services. We go over design, permits and timeline at the site visit.
