Interior and exterior painting
Most of a good paint job is preparation. We check the surfaces, protect your things, help with color decisions, and walk the finished work with you.
Who it’s for: Homeowners refreshing rooms, preparing to sell, or protecting siding and trim from the weather.

When to call
Common reasons people contact us
Peeling or faded exterior paint
Bare wood and failing paint let moisture into siding and trim.
Rooms that need a refresh
Scuffed walls, dated colors, or a new owner's taste.
Getting ready to sell
Neutral, clean walls help a house show well.
After repairs
Patched drywall or new trim that needs finishing.

Process
How a painting job runs
Surface check
We look for peeling, moisture, cracks and repairs needed before painting.
Colors and estimate
Areas, number of coats, prep work and price, plus help choosing colors if you want it.
Protection
Floors, furniture and landscaping covered; outlet and switch covers removed.
Prep and paint
Scraping, patching, sanding and priming, then the finish coats.
Cleanup and walkthrough
Covers off, things back in place, and a walkthrough to catch touch-ups.
Exterior painting needs dry weather and temperatures within the paint maker's range, so dates can move with the forecast.
Before we arrive
- Move small furniture, decor and wall hangings out of the rooms
- Choose colors, or set aside time to choose them with us
- For exterior work, trim plants back from the walls
- Tell us about pets and which rooms need to stay usable
When the work is done
We walk every painted area with you and fix touch-ups before we call the job finished.
Photos and paperwork from the job are kept with your job record.
Cost and timing
What affects your price
We don’t post prices, because two houses on the same street can need very different work. Your estimate is built from these factors.
Area
Square footage of walls, ceilings, siding and trim.
Surface condition
Peeling paint, patching and priming add prep time.
Height and access
Tall walls, stairwells and second stories need more setup.
Colors and coats
Big color changes often need an extra coat.
Timing
Interior work can be scheduled year-round. Exterior work runs in the warmer, drier months.
