Solar on a brick home

A closer look at this installation

The project photo shows roof-mounted panels above the brick exterior. It is one example of how residential solar can sit alongside the familiar materials of Pittsburgh-area homes.

Roof condition comes first

If you are considering panels for a brick home, start with the roof rather than the exterior walls. Ask about roof condition, available roof space and shading before deciding on a layout.

Every home needs its own assessment. Explore our solar installation and repair services or read about planning roofing work before solar.
